Lets go over some tips to get better scoring in the alliance duels.
Alliance Duels are a 6 day event usually ending on a Saturday and consists of various daily events to compete in.
Each events is based around Fortress improvement . It is highly recommended to save the items you get all week long and use this for the duels. The way the game makes money is that users tend to use there items as soon as they get it so when the event comes they have to buy more.
If your alliance wins you will get a prize even if you didn't make many points. Work hard and some simple planning can make your alliance a winner.
Lets talk about Boost, if you direct your attention to the blue 50% and purple 100% card. these are buffs that boost your score for "1 HOUR ONLY". Note that these cards only work 1 hour and do not stack. you can only use 1 at a time. Below is the recommended time for the use of boost cards.
Event 1 Gather Resources:
In this event the points are added only when your trucks return home with RSS. so using a boost while gathering will waste the effects. since using a boost for the 5 minutes you are returning home for points still waste 55 remaining minutes, The use of boost in this event is not recommended.
Event 2 Expand the Fortress:
In this event you get points for speedups used, diamonds purchased and construction power increase. This is an event where you want to have saved up al RSS and speed ups and can wait for 15 people online to get your assists. then you can use a boost and maximize your points with assists and all your speed ups.
Event 3 Research Technology:
This event makes points and is about the same as day 2 whit the exception of research and not construction. same technique applied for this event as day 2. use your boost for 1 hour and use your power and coins, plus all your members assists.
Event 4 Recruit Hero's:
Here is another event that doesn't require assistance from members. This is the recruit event. Hopefully you saved all your faction recruitments, blue , purple, and green recruit shards, and your Solari recruit cards. Go ahead and boost and then get all the hero's you can muster.
Event 5 Train Troops:
This event is another solo event, hope you saved some Iron and speed ups. go ahead and boost and train all you can. points are obtained on speed-ups used, level of troops trained, and diamonds spent.
Event 6 Enemy Elimination:
In this event you will be randomly paired with another alliance in the server you have been competing with all week. The game will pic a random city for you to port 2 and then capture that city first.
after the first city is captured you can port around and capture another city, to a max of 4 cities. After which you can sit around and attack people and cause trouble as you see fit. Most likely your leader will have some plan for you to attack and defend territories. Points are acquired from killing troops and capturing cities. (You do not need to restore city after captured, just take down the wall and the city will bubble and be complete)

Below are the research that opens right before your first alliance duel. make sure to do these up to "Bonus Rewards 1" this will allow you to have access to prizes 4, 5, and 6.
