About 3 weeks ago, I found a web blog talking about the benefits of putting certain buildings next to specific buildings for better boost. Now as I can't back it up for factual proof, I dub this post the "The Controversial Building Post"

The 2 above are from a fellow alliance members account. as you can see it is al stacked together in groups to easily access everything so you don't have to scroll around to much. nothing wrong about it. I'm sure we all made similar setups in the past with other builder fortress games.
Below Is my personal fortress

Nothing to special about pic 1 above. the only thing i will mention is that when you go into your fortress or leave the subway, the game automatically brings the camera to the top left corner of the fortress, so for military advantage I put my hospital in this corner so i can 1 tap enter the fortress and quick heal my troops.
Also I put my herbs next to my hospital so it takes max 3 seconds to get new herbs to my hospital cause I also have a workstation right next to it to deliver super fast.

Next frame above, Nothing special, I like to build in rows as just my prerogative. I also keep my barracks next to my training center so when I am training troops and cap out the quantity, the barracks are right next door and i can just upgrade a few to get more room for training more troops.

Here starts the first controversial point. I put the power plant next to the generator cause the plant uses coal. So I did this to decrease the time to deliver coal to the plant. Next to the plant is the storage center, and next to the storage center is the research facility. only reason is the research takes Power and when I am doing research and need more power it is right next door to do a quick 3 rapid burns on the power plant and do another research.

Controversial point 2.. I heard from a player in my second week from gaming that if you put the mint next to a Iron mine it will get a small production boost. I haven't found the proof for this yet but just incase I put all my mints next to my Iron mines for just in case. also it takes 5 seconds for Fernando to move RSS to the mint cause I have his workstation in the middle of all 4 iron mines.
Above the iron mine where the "select the facility you want to relocate" banner is is my storage. this way NATE doesn't have to travel far from the mines to drop RSS. he has only so much load. this way his trips between mines to the storage is 8 seconds max before he unloads and goes back for more.

Lastly based on all the matching buildings I have heard about. i decided to put my wheels and traps together on the bottom. before i moved them, I noticed all the gophers were hanging out at the bottom of the map when it was empty, so i moved the traps down there and they have been full 24/7 and consequently, I moved the wheels down as well thinking they will make gopher replacement faster cause they are so close.
These are not proven facts, just what i remember from players in the early days of my playing the game. hope this helps you decide your bunker layout. But your account is your own, I just want to share the resource material to help your creativity come with your own ideas.
